Team USA’s preliminary roster is starting to fill up

The USA national team preliminary roster is starting to fill up as the 2019 FIBA World Cup’s getting closer. NY Times reported that Anthony Davis, Kemba Walker, Donovan Mitchell and James Harden are confirmed participants.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the training camp is expected to also include: Bradley Beal, Eric Gordon, Kyle Kuzma, Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, Kevin Love, CJ McCollum and Jayson Tatum. PJ Tucker and Paul Millsap have also been discussed as possibilities to join the training camp.

Zion Williamson was invited to join the 10-man team that will compete alongside the 18-man training camp roster overseen by coach Gregg Popovich in Las Vegas in early August, Marc Stein reports. He will also have a chance to earn his spot on the 12-man World Cup roster.

UPDATE: Khris Middleton, LaMarcus Aldrige and Andre Drummond will also participate in the Team USA training camp, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
