Three Antetokounmpos are named to the squad.

The Greek Basketball Federation announced the national team’s 18-man preliminary roster for the 2019 World Cup.

Milwaukee Bucks superstar and reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo headlines the squad, together with All-EuroLeague First Team selections Nick Calathes (Panathinaikos) and Kostas Sloukas (Fenerbahce Beko). The list also includes captain Giannis Bourousis, Olympiacos forwards Giorgos Printezis and Kostas Papanikolaou plus Panathinaikos forward Ioannis Papapetrou.

For the first time, three Antetokounmpo brothers are named to the team since Thanasis and Kostas join their brother Giannis.

Greece’s 18-man roster is as follows:

Giannis Athinaiou, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Kostas Antetokounmpo, Panagiotis Vassilopoulos, Nick Calathes, Antonis Koniaris, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Vangelis Mantzaris, Dinos Mitoglou, Giannis Bourousis, Tyler Dorsey, George Papagiannis, Kostas Papanikolaou, Ioannis Papapetrou, Giorgos Printezis, Christos Saloustros, Kostas Sloukas.

Greece will face Brazil, Montenegro, and New Zealand in Group F during the first stage of the tournament. The top two teams advance to the next phase.
