USA put on a furious third quarter to get past Mali and win the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup in Crete, Greece

USA put on a strong third quarter breaking Mali’s resistance for a 93-79 win and their seventh FIBA U19 World Cup title.

Cade Cunningham led the way with 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while Jalen Suggs added 15 and Jeremiah Robinson 13 points.

Mali had the early 15-7 lead but USA was the team leading 42-40 at halftime. After the break, the American squad took over completely making a crucial 12-0 run from which Mali couldn’t recover.

For Mali, Abdoul Karim Coulibaly and Hassan Drame scored 17 points each while the latter also grabbed nine boards.
