Behind 19 points by Jordan Nwora, Nigeria got the 90-81 win against Canada, in the second prep game between the two teams in Canadian soil.

Josh Okogie added 15 points for the winning side, while Phil Scrubb led Canada with 12 points in the loss. Cory Joseph added 10 points, six rebounds and six assists and Khem Birch, Brady Heslip and Kyle Wiltjer each added eight points for Canada.

“I saw a lot of good things from our team,” said coach Nick Nurse. “Give Nigeria credit, they bounced back from the defeat the other night and played a little bit better and a little bit harder and made more shots.”

Nurse and his team will now head to Australia for a five-game exhibition series against Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
