Italy bounced back from the comeback loss to Russia to beat Venezuela 72 – 54 in the final day of the “Verona Cup” preparation tournament.
Awudu Abass (16 points) and Paul Biligha (12 points) scored in double figures from Italy. Nestor Colmenares had 12 points for Venezuela.
Italy finished with a 2-1 score after the wins over Senegal and Venezuela. Venezuela went 0 – 3, losing to Russia and Senegal apart from Italy.
