Greece beat Iran 88-58 in their preparation game ahead of FIBA World Cup 2019 at the Aegean Tournament.

Once again it was showtime in Crete, as Giannis Antetokounmpo shined with a dominant performance of 19 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.

The Greek Freak set the tone early and the team never looked back after that.

Ioannis Papapetrou and Kostas Papanikolaou followed with 11 and 10 points respectively, while Nick Calathes had five points and 11 assists.

Hamed Haddadi with 18 points and 10 rebounds did his best for the losing side.

The Greek NT will next participate at the Acropolis Tournament in Athens next week and will continue its training with a 16-man squad as Christos Saloustros was cut from the pre-selection roster.
