Team France bid goodbye to Adrien Moerman, who will miss the World Cup due to his long-term Achilles tendon pain and trimmed its roster to 14 players, less than two weeks before the big event.
After the tournament in Lyon, coach Vincent Collet chose to cut Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot from the roster, thus the 14 players remaining are the following:
