The Nigerian national team landed in China ahead of the 2019 World Cup. The team traveled to China after securing the funds that were necessary for the trip.
Nigeria, which is featuring such players as Ekpe Udoh and Chimezie Metu, will play in the Peak International Invitational Tournament. They will face Poland, Montenegro, and Iran.
The Nigerian “Tigers” are playing in Group B of the World Cup, together with Russia, Argentina and South Korea. The two top teams in the Group will advance to the second phase of the tournament.
