Argentina’s offense was too much for Japan.

Argentina defeated Japan 108 -93 in a preparation game that took place in Saitama. More than 17,000 fans attended the game in the Superdomo arena, per the Argentinian Federation.

Nicolas Brussino scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds while captain Luis Scola added 20 points and five boards for the Argentinian side. Nicolas Laprovittola posted 17 points and five assists while his Real Madrid teammate Facu Campazzo dished out 11 assists to go with his seven points. Gabriel Deck, another Real player, finished the match with 15 points.

New Washington Wizards player Rui Hachimura scored 23 points and got seven rebounds for Japan. Yudai Baba contributed 17 points.

Argentina will next participate in the Ningbo preparation tournament, together with Spain and Russia.
