For Italy, Belinelli banked game-high 18 points followed by Daniel Hackett’s 15 who shot 4-6 from deep. Danilo Gallinari and Luigi Datome played their first games after recovering from injuries and logged 11 and seven points respectively.

Serbia led 27-17 after ten minutes and was ahead 47-34 at halftime. They kept the control through the third quarter as well (59-48) but Italy made a 14-0 run led by Gallinari’s nine points and even took over the lead for a moment (65-64).  However, Serbia stayed calm and managed to turn it around for the win.
