Serbia continued its perfect run with an 88-78 win over New Zealand as they won all nine of their prep games for the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nemanja Bjelica, Miroslav Raduljica and Vladimir Lucic didn’t play this time for Serbia but the squad still got the job done.
Nikola Milutinov led the winning side with 19 points while Boban Marjanovic was right behind with 17 while Stefan Jovic added 13 points.
For New Zealand, Tai Webster was the most efficient player with 16 points.
Serbia was ahead 25-16 after ten minutes and 53-42 at halftime. In a low-scoring third quarter (15-8), they improved the lead to 68-50 and decided the victor although New Zealand managed to soften the blow in the fourth quarter.
