Giannis nearly didn’t miss a shot en route to scoring the lot for Greece.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 26 points (7/8 2-pointers, 12/14 free throws) in 22:38 as Greece defeated Dominican Republic 87 – 75 in a game for the international preparation tournament that is held in Suzhou ahead of the World Cup.

Apart from his 26 points, Antetokounmpo grabbed four rebounds and blocked his opponents thrice. George Papagiannis added 12 points, Giorgos Printezis 11 and Ioannis Papapetrou 10 points plus five rebounds for the Greek side.

Sadiel Rojas (16 points), Rigoberto Mendoza (13 points, four rebounds) and Victor Liz (13 points) stood out from the Dominican squad.

Greece faces Venezuela Tuesday, in its last preparation game before the World Cup launch.
