Turkey gained third place in the 2019 Suzhou International Basketball Challenge.

The third place game of the 2019 Suzhou International Basketball Challenge was one-sided in Turkey’s favor. Ufuk Sarica’s team wrapped up the friendly games ahead of the 2019 FIBA World Cup with the 87-59 victory over the Dominican Republic.

Melih Mahmutoglu and Ersan İlyasova poured 16 points each for Turkey. Sertac Sanli added 13 points and Yigit Arslan 10. Ronald Roberts and Rigoberto Mendoza shared a team-high 9 points for the losing side, Eulis Baez and Jean Montero remained out.

In earlier classification games, Senegal defeated Jordan, 69-64, for 5th place and Puerto Rico took down China B, 89-85, for seventh. Up next is the final between Venezuela and Greece.
