Japan is set for the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Julio Lamas picked out his 12-man roster for China, the Japanese Basketball Federation announced on Tuesday.
Seiya Ando, Shuto Ando, Yudai Baba, Nick Fazekas, Rui Hachimura, Makoto Hiejima, Avi Schafer, Ryusei Shinoyama, Joji Takeuchi, Kosuke Takeuchi. Daiki Tanaka and Yuta Watanabe made the final cut.
The Asian national team was drawn in Group E, which will take place at Shanghai between September 1st and September 5th. The high obstacles of Turkey, the Czech Republic and USA are in place for Japan.
