SHENZHEN – Team USA managed to qualify to the quarterfinals undefeated, after picking up an easy win over Brazil. With that win, the world champs also qualified to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Khris Middleton talked to Eurohoops right after the game, about his team’s undefeated run, the upcoming clash against Rudy Gobert and France, but also shared his opinion on Giannis and Greece failing to qualify to the quarter-finals.

“Don’t be satisfied. Keep it going. We still got a long way to go to get that gold medal,” said Middleton. When asked about facing France, Khris knows it’s going to be a challenge: “I just know they are a great team. We haven’t watched them too much, but I know they are a great team”.

Middleton, 28 also shared his opinion on Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece not making the quarter-finals, despite their win against the Czech Republic: “It was tough. They still got the win, but they didn’t get the point differential they needed. He’s gonna keep going, he’s not going to stop”.
