Kemba Walker sat out USA’s final game due to injury.

BEIJING – USA settled for seventh place in the 2019 FIBA World Cup with Kemba Walker missing the game vs. Poland due to a minor injury. The 29-year-old point guard of the Boston Celtics reassured that he has nothing major and added that he would love a chance to compete in the 2020 Olympic Games.

“We fell short of our goal, but gained lifelong friends and memories” he mentioned after the game and ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games noted, “I would love the opportunity to compete for a gold medal.”
