Andrew Bogut was punished for his comments after the semifinal game against Spain

FIBA confirmed to the Australian AP on Tuesday that Andrew Bogut was fined with 7.255 euros to be exact for his reaction in the mixed zone after the overtime defeat of Australia by Spain in the FIBA World Cup.

“FIBA can confirm that Mr. Bogut has been sanctioned with an official warning and a CHF8,000 fine, in accordance with the FIBA internal regulations, for his actions during and immediately after Australia’s FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 semi-final game against Spain,” a FIBA spokesperson wrote in a statement provided to AAP.

Bogut was booed during the whole tournament by Chinese fans for criticizing via twitter Chinese swimmer Sun Yang in the lead-up to the tournament, and he reacted to the punishment also via twitter.
