According to this press release the first place in the regular season translates to a B-licence in the 2013-14 Euroleague, if the team in the first position meets all the minimum requirements (arena seated capacity, hotels, international airport). Igokea, leader of ABA League standings at this point, with a gym of 3.050 seats in the city of Aleksadrovac, Bosnia doesn’t meet those criteria. After this season the two teams playing in the Adriatic league final and the loser of the semifinals with the best regular season record will get the tickets to Euroleague. Now, the ball is in Igokea’s court and their reaction should be interesting.
