Today Vasilis Spanoulis became a father for the second time! His wife, Olympia Hopsonidou brought to the world the second baby boy of the family and now she has to deal with three men in the house!
Just hours before the birth of his second child the captain of Olympiacos and second leading scorer this season in Euroleague, said to Eurohoops.net…
“Basketball and family are two different things. It’s a unique feeling to be a parent and I am thankful to God for this blessing, waiting my second child! I feel blessed and I also feel full of basketball joy. I believe that family happiness can help a professional athlete. You have something to ground you, when you are in need. If you are not feeling ok, you just get to your home and hug your child. After that, you see things in a different perspective”.
Spanoulis junior no2 is born and Olympiacos is qualified to the Euroleague Final Four. Is it an omen for the Greek guard? Who knows, but our wish for Olympia still stands!
