Fenerbahce/ Ulker lost the semifinal game by Real Madrid, but the Turkish fans who are in Madrid are not willing to sell their Sunday tickets. On the contrary they seem willing to support Olympiacos in the Final.
After the home fans, those of Fenerbahce have bought the most tickets. That made them a “target” after their team lost the semifinal for Real’s fans who are still looking for tickets.
However according to Eurohoops sources at least 90-95% of the Turks are not returning to Istanbul and want to live the full Final Four experience until the last moment. After all, they respect the season of their team and want to support Fenerbahce in the 3rd place game.
What’s really interesting is that after losing the semifinal to Real, most of them are ready to support a Greek team, Olympiacos. We will know for sure on Sunday what the fans of Fenerbahce will do, but one thing is for sure: They will be present.
