Promitheas defeated Peristeri to win the Greek Supercup

Promitheas defeated Peristeri 82-74 to lift the 2020 Greek Supercup, the first major title in the club’s history ahead of the start of the 2020-21 season. It’s also the first time in Greek basketball history that a team not based in Athens or Thessaloniki wins a major trophy.

Ian Miller led the winning side with 17 points, Danny Agbelese posted 16 points while Diante Garrett had 15 points.

Peristeri’s Abdul Gaddy posted 14 points, while Steven Gray and Terran Petteway shared 13 points each.

AEK – Panathinaikos 73-79

After recovering from the shock of elimination from the final, Panathinaikos defeated AEK after a tight contest. Nemanja Nedovic led all scorers of the Greens with 21 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and Ioannis Papapetrou added 15 points and 4 rebounds.

Keith Langford paced AEK with 20 points, while Jonas Maciulis and Yanick Moreira shared 12 points apiece.
