Panathinaikos OPAP comfortably holds on to its early undefeated streak at the domestic level

Following Round 5 in Greece’s Basket League, AEK stands at 4-0 and Panathinaikos OPAP at 4-0. However, the points system sends Peristeri and its 4-1 tally to first place.

Promitheas – PAOK 83-80

Dimitrios Agravanis logged 24 points and ten rebounds for the winning side while Vangelis Mantzaris scored 16 and Michalis Lountzis 12 points.

For PAOK, Elston Turner and Georgios Tsalmpouris scored 15 points each while Jermaine Love added 14 points.

Messolonghi – AEK 66-87

Matt Lojeski banked in four three-pointers on his way to 14 points for AEK while Jonas Maciulis added 13 and Yanick Moreira 12 points.

For Messolonghi, Chad Brown scored 17 in addition to Ioannis Agravanis’ 11 points.

Lavrio Megabolt – Ionikos Hellenic Coin 81-91

Nikos Chougkaz posted an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double for the first win of the season. Adam Smith also produced 18 points and Sayeed Pridgett contributed with 16.

For the home team, Vassilis Mouratos and Tyson Carter put in 17 points.

Iraklis – Peristeri 71-75

Steven Gray went for 26 points, including nine in overtime, getting his side up to a 4-1 start. Olivier Hanlan posted 17 points for the home team.

Panathinaikos OPAP – Kolossos H Hotels 90-67

Nemanja Nedovic starred for the Greens with a game-high 19 points. He connected four times from beyond the arc.

For Kolossos, Mihajlo Andric logged a team-high 15 points.
