Two teams retain a perfect record in the Greek league, Panathinaikos OPAP, and AEK. The Greens (5-0) routinely got past Peristeri on Sunday while the Queen moved up to 6-0 by defeating Iraklis on Saturday.
Jonas Maciulis sparked AEK’s win on the road putting up 18 points. Keith Langford punched in 16 and Linos Chrysikopoulos 14. Vassilis Kavvadas tallied a game-high 21 points but was on the wrong end of the result.
In other weekend action, Devin Davis logged in 23 points getting Lavrio Megabolt past Messolonghi Baxi, 87-70.
Panathinaikos didn’t face much trouble against Peristeri and prevailed led by Ben Bentil with 15 points. PAOK got past Aris thanks to the 218cm-tall Georgios Tsalmpouris who scored 22 points.
