Panathinaikos made short work of Iraklis thanks to a strong second half.

Panathinaikos crushed Iraklis at home 106 – 74 to remain unbeaten in the Greek League after nine games into the regular season.

George Papagiannis posted a double-double of 20 points plus 11 rebounds for Panathinaikos while Nemanja Nedovic scored 17 points. Ioannis Papapetrou added 15 points and Shelvin Mack 10 assists plus eight points.

For Iraklis, that dropped to 4-5, Scott Sags had 18 points, Vassilis Kavvadas 14 points and Olivier Hanlan 13 points.

Panathinaikos is now the only undefeated team in the championship this season since Lavrio defeated AEK 78 – 70 handing them their first loss in 14 months. Tyson Carter had 14 points for Lavrio while Yanick Moreira (30 points, eight rebounds) and Keith Langford (20 points) weren’t enough for AEK.

In Patras, local Promitheas beat Peristeri 75 – 58 behind 20 points and five assists by Ian Miller, 15 points by Charis Giannopoulos and 14 by Dimitris Agravanis.
