Impressive outing for AEK and newcomer Daryl Macon

AEK in a convincing display routed Peristeri, 91-59, Saturday. Recently-added Daryl Macon registered a game-high 18 points. Yanick Moreira made a 15-point contribution and Jonas Maciulis threw in 13 more points for the Queen jumping to 10-4 in Greece’s Basket League.

Third win in a row for Promitheas, 81-63, opposite Larisa. The team coached by Makis Giatras allowed only three points in the first quarter and went on to improve to 9-4. Dimitris Agravanis put up 17 points and Giannis Athinaiou added 16 points.

Lavrio up 10-4 shares first place in the standings based on the points-ranking system (24) with AEK. The rookie out of Providence, Alpha Diallo poured a game-high 23 points in the away win, 94-89, over Aris.

Kerem Kanter went for 23 points with 9/12 field goals and also pulled down 11 rebounds as Kolossos dropped Iraklis, 84-61.

Adam Smith combined 23 points and seven assists guiding Ionikos over Messolonghi, 100-85.

The Regular Season Round 14 schedule may be completed tomorrow, Sunday, with Panathinaikos OPAP on the road versus PAOK. However, the Greens hit by four coronavirus cases will request the fixture to be pushed back.
