A hard-fought win at home for AEK against Iraklis

Daryl Macon became the difference-maker in a balanced Basket League Regular Season Round 18 matchup between shorthanded AEK and Iraklis. His triple with four seconds remaining secured the overtime win, 100-97, at home for the Queen. The 25-year-old American guard ended up with 19 points with Keith Langford packing a team-high 28 points. Josh Hagins put up a game-high 32 points for the visitors.

AEK up 13-4 went to 30 on the point-ranking system. Lavrio jumped to 32 (14-4) after the 79-75 victory versus Messolonghi on the road. Tyson Carter scored 16 points and Alpha Diallo posted an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double.

Panathinaikos got a 74-68 road win over Peristeri as the Greens improved to 14-2 at the top of the standings together with Lavrio which also boats 14 victories but with four losses next to it.

Ioannis Papapetrou led the way with 17 points while on the opposing side Terran Petteway banked in 21 points.
