Panathinaikos was particularly strong in the second half against Messolonghi to win 102 – 68 and improve 15 – 2. The Greens had still-recovering guard Nemanja Nedovic returning at OAKA, after coming back from Serbia.

Lefteris Bochorides scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Panathinaikos. Mario Hezonja Zach Auguste had 11 points apiece while Shelvin Mack dropped 10 points as their team overpowered its opponents 26 – 11 in the quarter after the break (48 – 39) to reach the final stretch with a wide lead.

Messolonghi couldn’t prevent the hosts’ efforts in the fourth period, getting pounded 28 – 18. Mark Lyons had 15 points and Eugene Lawrence 14.
