Gian Clavell inked a deal to join Promitheas, the Greek club announced Wednesday.
Clavell, 27, was attached to Avtodor Saratov since the beginning of the 2020-21 season. The Colorado State graduate, Puerto Rican guard, previously played in Turkey (Bursaspor, Sakarya) and Spain (Estudiantes). His pro career also includes seven appearances with the Dallas Mavericks during the 2017-18 NBA season.
Promitheas, after an early ending to its 7DAYS EuroCup campaign, ranked third in the Greek league Regular Season and will face Peristeri in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. The team led by Makis Giatras has clinched a Greek Cup final berth but awaits its opponent.
