Panathinaikos OPAP recovered from the previous clash they lost to AEK and have taken over the lead in the series once again with a 94-83 win. The Greens now lead 2-1 in the best-of-five series.

Dinos Mitoglou led the way with 23 points while Mario Hezonja was right behind with 20 and Ben Bentil with 17 points. Mitoglou also added seven rebounds, four steals, two blocks, and two assists.

On the opposing squad, Yanick Moreira scored 21 in addition to Matt Lojeski’s 16 and Jonas Maciulis’s 14 points.

PAO had control of the game from the tip-off and was ahead 50-37 at halftime but AEK managed to make a late comeback effort and cut the gap to as little as three points down the stretch (86-83).

However, Mitoglou banked in a triple which inspired Aaron White to hit one of his own as well as sink two free throws which sealed the deal for Panathinaikos.
