Panathinaikos defeated AEK to advance to the Greek Basket League finals

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens defeated AEK 78-71 in Game 4 of their semifinals series, to advance to the Greek Basket League finals, where they will have the chance to chase after their 39th overall competition trophy.

Ioannis Papapetrou lifted his team to win with 22 points, Mario Hezonja posted 13 points, Giorgos Papagiannis tapped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds and Kostas Mitoglou had 11 points and 9 rebounds.

On the other end of the court, Daryl Macon paced AEK with 18 points, Yannick Moreira had 14 and Jonas Maciulis followed with 12.

The second finalist of the season is yet to be decided by the pair Lavrio – Promitheas, where the latter holds a 2-1 lead.
