Tyler Dorsey found his shooting rhythm in the Greek Cup duel against Iraklis and led Olympiacos to a convincing 90-55 win with which the Reds advanced to the quarterfinals.

Dorsey banked in 21 points on 5-7 shooting from deep in under 18 minutes he spent on the floor while Kostas Sloukas added 13 points. Sasha Vezenkov put on an all-around performance with ten points, nine rebounds, six assists, and three steals.

On the opposing side, Ryan Woolridge scored 18 and Elston Turner ten points.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos‘ opponent in the quarterfinals was decided between Ionikos and Larisa with the former prevailing 74-66, led by Eugene German (16 points) and Muhaymin Mustafa (12 points, seven rebounds). For the losing team, TJ Lawrence scored 19.

With those two duels finished, the Greek Cup quarterfinals have been set and the four matchups are expected to be played out in February. Olympiacos had to play a couple more games this year compared to other top teams as the club is technically coming from the second division into the Cup.

The quarterfinals are as follows:

AEK – Peristeri
Panathinaikos – Lavrio
Promitheas – PAOK
Olympiacos – Ionikos
