Panathinaikos OPAP routed Kolossos H Hotels, 77-54, on Monday evening.

Cuban star Howard Sant-Roos stood out with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three steals in the Stoiximan Basket League Regular Season contest. Lefteris Bochoridis shared the game-high 13 points and Nemanja Nedovic chipped in ten points.

The team coached by Dimitris Priftis outscored Kolossos, 21-11, in the second quarter and further distanced itself after the break to clinch the third win in a row and improve to 3-1 in the Greek League. Convincing displays against Ionikos HNC Revolution and Peristeri Vitabiotics followed the opening round loss to Aris.

Okaro White was rested against Kolossos, while Yogi Ferrell and Jeremy Evans are unregistered at the domestic level.

The Greens will be moving back to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Regular Season Round 8 around the corner and featuring a visit to Crvena Zvezda mts on Thursday. Two wins in the first seven matches make out the rough start to the 2021-22 campaign. The Serbian club also stands at 2-5, in a five-way tie at 13th place including Fenerbahce Beko, Anadolu Efes, and ALBA Berlin.

For the visitors coming in with a three-game winning streak, Kenny Williams was the third player finishing with 13 points in the match held in Athens. The team based in Rhodes was forced down to 3-2 and to a tie in fourth place with AEK.

Olympiacos at 4-0 remains the only undefeated team of the Greek League. However, Lavrio Megabolt and Promitheas at 4-1 top the standings based on the win-loss points system at the completion of Round 5.
