Panathinaikos unleashed 3-points at will against Promitheas.

Panathinaikos Athens defeated Promitheas Patras 92 – 67 in the Greek League a few days before the EuroLeague derby against archrival Olympiacos Piraeus (22/12). The Greens produced 15-37 3-pointers to deliver their damage mostly from the perimeter.

Nemanja Nedovic scored a team-high 17 points in 13 minutes for a Panathinaikos squad that led 24 – 12 in the first period and never looked back. Okaro White added 13 points while Daryl Macon and Howard Sant-Roos dropped 11 points apiece.

Dario Hunt (17 point) and Kendrick Ray (15 points) were Promitheas’ top contributors.

Panathinaikos is leading the Greek League standings with 8-1. Promitheas is now 7-4 while Kolossos Rhodes improved to 7-3 after a win over Peristeri.

The game of second-placed Olympiacos Piraeus vs. Aris Thessaloniki and Ionikos Nikaia against PAOK Thesasaloniki was postponed due to Aris and PAOK registering multiple coronavirus cases.
