Olympiacos grabbed a comfortable win over Apollon Patras on the road to extend its hot streak in the Greek Basket League

Sasha Vezenkov posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Olympiacos Piraeus got past Apollon Patras on the road with a 94-68 victory in their rescheduled meeting for Round 23 of the Greek Basket League.

Giannoulis Larentzakis scored a team-high 16 points, along with six assists, Tyler Dorsey added 11 points and Kostas Papanikolaou was added to the list of top scorers with 10 points.

Gerel Simmons had 16 points to lead the hosts and Elijah Mitrou-Long followed with 15 points. Apollon suffered its fourth consecutive defeat to drop to a 7-16 record in the standings with one round yet to play in the regular season.

Olympiacos has improved to a 22-1 record and has locked the top seed of the regular season. Georgios Bartzokas’ squad faces Kolossos Rhodes at home (May 14, 20:00 local time) for the RS finale.
