One-way traffic for Olympiacos downing AEK and extending the undefeated streak in Greece’s Basket League

Quickly taking care of the win in Greece’s Basket League Regular Season Round 11, Olympiacos enjoyed Isaiah Canaan producing his best performance in the 2022-23 season.

Canaan, 31, tucked in 8/11 three-pointers in the blowout win, 111-71, against AEK at Peace and Friendship Stadium Sunday night.

Out of a team total of 21/32, five additional triples were dropped by Giannoulis Larentzakis packing a total of 17 points against his former team. Shaquielle McKissic was scratched by head coach Giorgos Bartzokas ahead of the double-game week in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

The Queen missed a couple of former Olympiacos players, Janis Strelnieks and Antonis Koniaris. Besides injuries, unregistered Isaiah Miles was sidelined as well. Among available players, Akil Mitchell logged a team-high 18 points.

Similar to AEK and also Peristeri bwin, PAOK mateco is heading to Game 2 of the Basketball Champions League Play-Ins. A comfortable win, 97-60, against Apollon Carna paved the way Sunday. The team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis was edged out by Panathinaikos Saturday.
