Panathinaikos Athens got an easy Greek League win the team needed against bottom-placed Karditsa BC by prevailing 91 – 75 but not everything went smooth for the Greens in the game.

Derrick Williams had to exit the game due to knee disturbance just two minutes into the game while Nate Wolters faced a similar issue and didn’t play at all in the second half after registering 6:38. Panathinaikos already has Arturas Gudaitis and Dimitris Agravanis out with injuries and is hoping to not see the list of absences getting bigger.

Giorgos Kalaitzakis stepped up for Panathinaikos with a season-high 20 points in one of his top performances with the team’s jersey. George Papagiannis posted 14 points plus 13 rebounds and Lefteris Mantzoukas scored 14 points of his own. Their squad is 14-2 and in the second place in the standings.

Sean Evans (18 points) and Sean Gallinat (16 points0 stood out from Karditsa, now 3-18
