The red-and-white team got the upper hand against crowd favorite Kill Bill’s squad

When Vassilis Spanoulis comes back to the Peace and Friendship Stadium, it’s always a big deal. However, Kill Bill couldn’t celebrate a lot, as his beloved Olympiacos beat Peristeri 87-74.

Having the opportunity of likely coaching him in next year’s FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament being hosted in the same venue, the former Oly’s point guard witnessed the current leader of the red-and-white team drag the squad, as Thomas Walkup provided 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists.

While both Alec Peters and Isaiah Canaan added 14 points, on the other side Joe Ragland went really close to a double-double in the loss with 9 points and 13 assists. Trevor Thompson also almost dropped a double-double by adding 15 points and 9 rebounds.
