Multiple injury issues for Olympiacos. Head coach Giorgos Bartzokas was limited to eight available players in the latest domestic showing.

Overcoming a slow start, the reigning champions of Greece routed PAOK mateco, 77-62, and went up to 14-2 in Greece’s Stoiximan Basket League Regular Season on Saturday.

Alec Peters posted a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double and Isaiah Canaan went for 17 points. Both netted four three-pointers. Ignas Brazdeikis threw in 17 points and seven rebounds.

Adding to the injury list, Giannoulis Larentzakis and Filip Petrusev were ruled out for the Round 16 contest. Moustapha Fall (knee) and Nikola Milutinov (foot) remained on the injury list. Nigel Williams-Goss was in the lineup but did not play due to a recent injury.

Unregistered Luke Sikma and Shaquielle McKissic sat out as well. Arriving in Greece in the morning, newcomer Moses Wright was in the Peace and Friendship Stadium but naturally did not suit up.

Peristeri and AEK pick up wins

Switching from the Basketball Champions League to the Basket League, Peristeri bwin topped Maroussi, 95-72. Leading the team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis, Joe Ragland produced a 19-point, 12-assist double-double to go with six rebounds and one steal.

In the debut of new head coach Ilias Zouros, AEK Betsson earned an away win, 95-86, against Karditsa Iaponiki. Giannis Kouzeloglou and Justin Tillman shared a game-high 20 points.
