Vassilis Spanoulis seemed poised to lead Peristeri to victory against his former club, but the defending Greek champions woke up in the final minutes of the third quarter. Olympiacos Piraeus made a 21-5 run to seize control and ultimately clinch a 91-83 win at home.

Nigel Williams-Goss led the way with 19 points and five assists, contributing to Georgios Bartzokas’ side’s improved record of 22-2 in the Greek Stoiximan League standings.

Moses Wright followed closely with 18 points and five rebounds, while Shaquille Mckissic added 12 points. Moustapha Fall fell short of a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. Also, Alec Peters and Thomas Walkup contributed 10 points each, with the Greek national team point guard dishing six assists and grabbing five rebounds.

Nikolas Chougaz stood out for Peristeri with 18 points, while Elijah Mitrou Long scored 15 points in a match-up against his brother Naz, who spent five minutes on the court without scoring.

Stylianos Poulianitis followed with 12 points, while Jarmaine Love and Nemanja Danubic scored 11 and nine points, respectively. Joe Ragland managed just four points from two shots but orchestrated Peristeri’s offense with nine assists.
