Former referee Ilias Koromilas was remanded in custody after his testimony on Monday, October 26. Vasiliki Tsaroucha and Tasos Piloidis will stay in home detention wearing special tracking devices.
No cash was found at their homes, and no suspicious bank transactions were detected.
Koromilas joins former Greek Basketball Federation president Vangelis Liolios, businessman Giorgos Mavraganis and former referee Petros Papapetrou in pretrial detention.
Papapetrou was detained on October 23, with authorities finding €820,000 at his home, which he reportedly attributed to professional earnings and family income.
Liolios announced he was stepping away from basketball during the legal proceedings. The investigation involves six suspects and concerns alleged bribery and manipulation of 49 games between 2016 and 2026. The allegations remain subject to judicial proceedings.
