Things were easy for Olympiacos on the way to a 5-0 record in the Greek League by beating Peristeri 91-62, just before the big game of the week in Greece between Aris and Panathinaikos.
Still playing without Evan Fournier, Jean Montero and punished Tyler Dorsey, Olympiacos led even by 37 points (71-34) despite facing a solid opponent.
Corey Joseph with 12 points was the first among equals for the winning side, which remain second in the standings, having a -2 points penalty like Panathinaikos from incidents occurred in last season’s finals.
The top belongs to perfect PAOK after beating Iraklis on the road 63-53 on Saturday, while newcomers Vilkos Falkons shocked AEK for the 95-84 win.
