We are in the last week of the regular season in the Greek Basket League and the team that will join Kavala in the second division has been decided.
A combination of the results in three different games has relegated Arkadikos. The team from Tripoli was defeated (74-87) by superior AEK on the road and said farewell to the Basket League category. Meanwhile, Koroivos remained safe and sound after beating Lavrio 86 – 69, especially after hearing that Trikala (Ovie Soko 25 points, 7 rebounds) defeated Apollon Patras 84 – 67. Soko after finishing his season in Greece is expected to sign for the rest of it in Italy with Brindisi.
Thanks to this last game, the three-way tie that would bring Koroivos in a disadvantageous position, did not happen, so the team from Amaliada kept its place in the first division for the upcoming season as well.
