Panathinaikos didn’t face any problems at all against Kolossos Rhodes, winning the game 91 – 63  and making the 1-0 in the quarterfinals series for the Greek Basket League playoffs.

The return of coach Argiris Pedoulakis at the helm of the Panathinaikos turned out to be typical procedure for his team since the Greek Cup holders were way more superior than their opponents.

Panathinaikos took a 20-point difference at the end of the first quarter (34-14) and then simply kept expanding it. Nikos Pappas was restored in the Greens’ squad after a three-month absence, finishing the game with 8 points.

James Feldeine was the top scorer of the game, since he scored 20 points for the winning side while Giannoulis Larentzakis had 14 points and 6 rebounds for Kolossos.
