By playing excellent defense and firing at will from beyond the arc, Olympiacos beat Aris 69 – 55.

Olympiacos improved its Greek League record to 17 – 1 after defeating Aris 69 – 55 at home behind Erick Green’s 14 points and Vangelis Mantzaris’ 11 plus 4 assists.

The team from Thessaloniki produced a poor number of 21 points in the first half while receiving 40. Despite a late reaction, this margin was way too much for coach Priftis’ players to handle and their team fell to 10 – 8 record, few days before the Greek Cup final vs Panathinaikos.

Ex “Red” Vassilis Kavvadas had 13 points and Will Cummings added 12 for Aris.

Olympiacos finished the first two quarters with 8/15 from downtown which, along with some tight defense, granted them quite the advantage for the remainder of the match which never escaped their control.
