While there’s no other prize than pride, AEK got the 2-0 lead the series for the 3rd place of the final standings after getting the 91-85 with Gianoulis Larentzakis scoring 19 points.
Veteran big man Loukas Mavrokefalidis added also 19 points for the winners while Vladimir Jankovic and Spyros Mourtos scored 18 points each for Aris and Michalis Tsairelis added 17 points.
The game was decided on details and after the end of it, Aris coach Dimitris Priftis said in the press conference: “I am outraged and I am tired. The spots authorities should do something about the referees, no matter what I may say”.
