After Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and AEK, Aris also qualified to the Greek Cup semifinal stage.

In front of their home crowd in “Nick Galis Hall”, Aris beat PAOK 70 – 63 a lot easier than what the final score implies.

Led by veteran Panagiotis Vassilopoulos (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Keith Benson (12 points, 4 rebounds) the hosts were up 67 – 49 early in the fourth quarter and while PAOK tried to come back, it couldn’t trim the deficit more than 9 (51-42).

Kevin Dillard (14 points, 7 assists) and Mike Jones (14 points) weren’t enough to prevent PAOK’s defeat.

Earlier, Panathinaikos and Olympiacos didn’t face any problems against Kollosos Rhodes and Larissas Faros, respectively.
