With Hollis Thompson scoring 24 points (6/9 3-pointers) and grabbing 5 rebounds, Olympiacos bade farewell to 2017 with an 87 – 65 victory over Panionios for the Greek League.

The 24 points are the most Thompson has ever scored in a non-G League game. With this output, the American wing surpassed the 23 points he had dropped in a 105 – 89 win of the Philadelphia 76ers over the Denver Nuggets back in February 2015.

Thanks to his performance plus the 11 points and 7 rebounds courtesy of Kyle Wiltjer, plus the 11 points of Giorgos Bogris, the Reds improved their record to 8-2.

Meanwhile, Panionios remains in the last spot of the standings with 1 – 9. Dejan Kravic had 13 points and Boris Dallo 11 plus 6 boards.
