McKenzie Moore led Lavrio to a comeback win over Rethymno.

Mckenzie Moore has been considered one of the most intriguing players in this season’s Greek League and tonight he showed again why.

The American guard scored 22 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and stole the ball four times leading Lavrio to a comeback victory 78 – 77 over Rethymnon.

Moore who, also hit a huge bucket that put Lavrio up 76 – 74 with one minute remaining, made a turnover that could have come with a cost for his team when he traveled with only seconds left to play. But Malcolm Armstead, the top scorer of the game with 23 points (plus 5 assists) lost the lay-up attempt to win the game and Lavrio smiled in the end.

In the other games that took place today in the Greek League, AEK celebrated winning the Greek Cup together with its fans, by beating Kolossos 95 – 79 behind 16 points by Kevin Punter.
