Kostas Papanikolaou hit the go-ahead, game-winning 3-pointer with 14 seconds remaining in Game 2 of the Greek League semifinals between Olympiacos and Promitheas to give the Reds an 89 – 88 win and the 2-0 advantage in the series.

Promitheas came back from a 22-point deficit (60-38) they fell behind with early in the second half and even took a 6-point lead, 76 – 82 with less than four minutes remaining. The team from Patras had multiples chances to win the match but after making the score 86 – 88, Casey Prather made a bad pass and then missed a potential game-winning lay-up attempt in the very last play.

Prather would’ve been the ultimate hero for Promitheas since he finished with 22 points. Muhammad Faye added 17 points and Langston Hall 15.

For Olympiacos, Vassilis Spanoulis posted 20 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals, including the one on Prather’s pass during the last plays. Giorgos Printezis had 13 points and four rebounds while Brian Roberts scored 10.
