Easy wins for AEK and PAO in the Greek Cup round of 16

Both Panathinaikos and AEK qualified for the quarterfinals of the Greek Cup.

Things proved to be quite easy for Panathinaikos and AEK on the round of 16 of the Greek Cup. The Greens beat Pagrati, a second division team, by 34 points (100-66) without Nick Calathes, Keith Langford and Stefan Lasme who were rested by coach Xavi Pascual.

Meanwhile, AEK beat also a second division team, Diagoras, by 22 points (76-54). Tyler Roberson with 15 points was the top scorer in a balanced offensive effort.

In the rest of today’s Greek cup games, Promitheas beat Aris (86-65), Peristeri prevailed over Ifaistos (91-81), PAOK got the win over Panionios (81-69) and Kimi did the same on the road against Rethimno (69-61).
